So much of January is gone! and I can show you many stitches to prove what I have been doing, but it's a gift that needs to be kept hidden. sorry.
But there has also been many happenings in the last two weeks. Beginning with the desecration of the Capitol, and all the government reactions/responses. I am, of late, a very big news junkie. So hand stitching works well for listening!! Yesterday however was more watching than stitching and so proud I am of all that has transcended the violence and disruption. I will say it over and over, Joy Cometh in the Morning. Yesterday at Noon with our new President and Vice President being sworn in. God Bless the USA.
One other interruption was Saturday with my kids giving me an early birthday party/brunch. But their day was extended as we waited for delivery of their gift to me...a new sofa/couch!! The old one was only 25 years old...but had seen better days. Having my kids and grands here made for a very noisy, happy, busy day. So no stitching to show there either.
Now the calm and quiet returns so I anticipate much time with needle thread. Soon there will be photos to share. Meanwhile, I hope dear followers you are enjoying your own creative talents. I leave you with a few of my favorite prints, to make you smile.
